RiCkyPedia is sponsored by the Resource Centers on Minority Aging Research and funded by the National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health. The mission of the site is to foster information sharing about research, education, and interventions relevant to elders of color in the United States.

The measures and measurement section is intended to broadly disseminate information on health-related measures relevant to studies of minority elders, as well as disseminate methods that are used in that research.
